About us

Who do we serve?

At Fifth Gospel Equine, we welcome individuals from all ages and backgrounds who are seeking healing, hope, and restoration. Our heart is to serve anyone walking through trauma, addiction, or mental illness, including those affected by anxiety, depression, PTSD, abuse, abandonment, broken family relationships, or other emotional challenges.

Through our faith-based recovery program, participants experience the healing presence of the Holy Spirit and the gentle partnership of the horse — a powerful combination that brings peace, confidence, and renewal from the inside out.

In addition to our recovery program, we also offer horsemanship classes for students in grades K–12, providing opportunities to learn equine skills, build character, and grow in faith.

Core Beliefs

At Fifth Gospel Equine, everything we do is built on three core beliefs that guide our mission and ministry:

  1. Jesus Gives Life and Freedom
No matter what we’ve done, where we’ve been, or who we were in the past — today is a fresh start through the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. He alone brings true freedom and new life.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
    John 8:36 (NIV)

  2. You Have a God-Given Purpose
God created you with a unique calling and purpose that was written long before you were born. Our desire is to help each person discover who God created them to be and walk boldly in that purpose.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
    Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

  3. We Are the Fifth Gospel
Just as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John shared the story of Jesus, we are called to share our testimonies — the living evidence of His grace at work in our lives. In doing so, we become a “Fifth Gospel,” carrying His message of hope and transformation to others.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
    Acts 1:8 (NIV)

Our Mission

At Fifth Gospel Equine, our mission is to help individuals find healing, freedom, and restoration from trauma, addiction, and mental illness through the power of the Holy Spirit and the gentle connection found in Natural Horsemanship.

We believe that when people encounter the presence of God, true transformation begins — from the inside out. By pairing biblical mentorship with equine partnership, we create a safe space for individuals to rebuild trust, rediscover purpose, and experience the unconditional love of Christ.

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17 (NLT)

What makes this Unique?

At Fifth Gospel Equine, our instructors are guided by both the Holy Spirit and the body language of the horse to coach each student through transformative equine experiences. The horse often reflects what’s happening within the human heart—revealing emotions, fears, and strengths that might otherwise remain hidden.

As the horse brings those emotions to light, the Holy Spirit begins the work of healing and restoration from the inside out. Our role is simply to plant the seeds and water them faithfully, trusting the Lord to bring growth and produce lasting fruit in each person’s life.

Founder

It all began with my own healing journey. For many years, I struggled with strongholds, addiction, and mental illness. But through the life-giving power of Jesus and the natural, God-given instincts of horses, I found true freedom.

What followed was a wild and beautiful transformation — I went from bound to free, broken to whole, fearful to bold, and hopeless to purpose-driven. I learned firsthand that the same healing and freedom I experienced through Christ and horses is possible for anyone, no matter what they are facing.

In 2020, God gave me a clear vision and a passion to use my love and knowledge of horses to serve others. I’ll be honest — at first, I didn’t think it was possible. I wrestled with doubt and procrastinated in obedience. But eventually, I took a leap of faith, trusting God’s call. In 2023, that leap became reality as Fifth Gospel Equine officially opened its gates.

Since then, I have witnessed incredible transformations — people finding restoration, hope, and freedom as they encounter the Holy Spirit through our horses. I know without a doubt that God is on the move, bringing healing to those who have walked through trauma, addiction, and mental illness.

I also couldn’t have done any of this without the love and support of my husband and family. My family stood beside me through every challenge, prayed with me through every step, and shared in the joy of every victory. Their faith, encouragement, and partnership are the steady foundation that has made this ministry possible.

None of this would have been possible without the remarkable people and community God has brought alongside me to support this mission. I am forever grateful for every hand, heart, and prayer that has helped bring His vision to life.

With gratitude and faith,
